The National Trust of Queensland has just released its new Heritage
Information Kit. This kit has been developed as a reference tool
for a new identification and advocacy system. The kit is designed
to assist members, branches and the new Regional Heritage Committees
with the identification and significance assessments of heritage
places, as well as with associated advocacy in local areas.
Whilst the main part of the kit is available
here, the database is not. The reason for this is that, as a
community organisation, we may well have information that is out
of date or incomplete. We will, however, be making the database
(or sections of) available on CD Rom format for $25 (including postage
and handling costs) for those who wish to know what may have been
identified in their local area as a basis of further work.
