The Regent Theatre, Brisbane
The Regent Threatre opened as a combined live theatre and
cinema in 1929.
The National Trust placed the Regent Threatre on its Heritage
Register in 1974, citing the whole theatre as "worthy
of preservation at all costs... The Regent is one of the best
surviving examples of the lavish picture palaces left in Australia".

Listed, iconic, Jimna Fire Tower, due to the massive support
received from the general public, the business houses and the
tourism stakeholders throughout south east Queensland over the
past eighteen months.

North Bank
Development Brisbane
The National Trust, in response to growing community concern
organised a petition respectfully asking the Queensland Government
not to proceed with the North Bank proposal because of its impact
on the Brisbane River and the City of Brisbane.
