Queensland Heritage Grants Program -
Living Buildings and Places
The Queensland Government announced this $5M grant scheme for conservation works and plans for heritage places in late 2006. The program is administered by the Environmental Protection Agency and the first round closed in March 2007. The second round is expected to open in November 2007 with a third round expected in 2008.

Community Heritage Grants
The National Library of Australia has a grants program for assessing and conserving significant cultural heritage collections held by community groups. The 2007 program closed in June and a similar program is expected in 2008.

Q150 Community Funding Program
The Department of the Premier and offers grants of up to $10,000 to celebrate and commemorate the Sesqui-Centenary anniversary through activities and projects that reflect the unique culture, heritage and aspirations of their own community. Second round closes early 2008.

Community Memorials Restoration Program
The Department of Public Works offers dollar-for-dollar subsidy grants of up to $25,000 for the restoration of icons such as monuments, memorials, honour rolls, halls, gates, obelisks, trees, plaques, fountains, statues, gardens, cenotaphs or clocks.
