The fight to save Queensland's precious heritage for our future generations is a tough one. As National Trust members we share the passion to see our unique heritage places kept, valued and celebrated by our community and it takes dedication and commitment to realise this.

That is why I would like to highlight some achievements of the last few years and provide you with an opportunity to help us keep up this momentum and continue the good work.

In recent times, the National Trust of Queensland has achieved some major milestones in conserving and protecting many of Queensland's precious yet vulnerable heritage places. We have completed major projects at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Brennan and Geraghty's Store, Wolston House, the Stock Exchange Arcade, James Cook Museum and the Royal Bulls Head Inn, with funding assistance from donors and the Commonwealth and Queensland governments.

Our community projects which promote Queensland's heritage, such as our Heritage Awards and Heritage Festival, continue to grow. Our magazine, Trust News, is going from strength to strength. The North Bank campaign showed what the Trust can achieve through advocacy.

We are proud of our achievements and with your help we can do more to conserve Queensland's precious heritage.
